The VeriFone Omni 3350 terminal delivers a complete set of state-of-the-art payment capabilities and technologies in an easy-to-use design. Featuring a fast 32-bit processor, 14.4-Kbps modem and multi-tasking capability, the Omni 3350 achieves new levels of perfor-mance. Merchants enjoy fully integrated processing for an array of smart card schemes.
Taking full advantage of VeriFone's Verix operating environment and up to 3 Mbytes of memory, the Omni 3350 securely supports and runs multiple applications in a single device. Our unique imple-mentation of application separation at both the hardware and software level reduces the need for time-consuming and costly re-certifications when adding or modifying applications. VeriFone's VeriShield security architecture offers sophisticated file authentication capabilities to prevent the execution of unauthorized software. Moreover, the 3350 terminal is certified to meet emerging global smart card standards such as EMV.
