The MX 880 combines VeriFone's largest full-motion video display with 65,536 colors and most powerful processor in a device with a tactile keypad. It offers full-throttle multimedia for revenue-driving promotions with a payments solution that withstands the heaviest use.
Like all MX 800 Series devices, the MX 880 takes advantage of a common user interface and modular design to add even more flexibility so retailers can mix and match it with other MX 800 systems in virtually endless combinations.
Overview
With its Linux-based secure payment operating system and forms-based application development environment, the MX 880 avoids the security pitfalls of closed proprietary operating systems. It also supports VeriShield Protect, VeriFone's end to end cardholder encryption solution.
The MX 880 takes advantage of PAYware Vision, a fully integrated suite of software for payment processing, signature capture, asset tracking, remote software downloads, signature capture and charge back processing, and content delivery -- all from a central point of administration.
