The Hypercom T8 terminal improves service quality while reducing service costs for the merchant requiring a device that provides a wide range of debit, draft capture, and check verification transactions.
A sensible user interface combined with high-performance communications creates a POS device that is cost-effective and, improves service quality, and reduces operating costs. The practical user interface gives the merchant single-stroke hot key functions with the 35 pre-programmable keys. This allows single keystroke entries of alpha data. The backlit, high contrast 2 x 20 LCD display is easy to view.
Speed and reliability make the Hypercom T8 credit card terminal an economical, efficient, and dependable device. Its 256K stores over 100 transactions and this device's 1200 bps modem gives an access response time of under 10 seconds. The card reader reads 1 and 2 Track simultaneously with Track 3 optional. Auxiliary ports include: RS232; RS422; PINpad; and a TTL Parallel Printer port for maximum flexibility to meet the most exacting merchant's needs.
