Overview

Artema Hybrid is an all-in-one terminal for magnetic stripe and chip card transactions with a single “hybrid" card reader. For use in stand-alone or multi-lane configurations, Artema Hybrid provides merchants with a powerful and flexible card payment solution.

On insertion of the card, be it with magnetic stripe or chip, the terminal provides fast authentication, ensuring straightforward and consistent handling. This avoids possible confusion, since the cashier does not have to determine whether the card has a valid chip or only magnetic stripe.

With a variety of built-in communication modules and a wide range of interfaces, Artema Hybrid can be connected to most communication networks (PSTN, ISDN, LAN) and peripherals such as cash registers and printers. As a result, the terminal can be used in multi-lane configuration as well as standalone, with or without connection to cash register systems. In all cases, its advanced communication modules guarantee fast and trouble-free transactions.
