Are there monthly minimums associated with accepting credit cards?
There are monthly charges that are associated with having your merchant account open and functioning. All the fees and transaction rates are dependant on the volume and the number of transactions.
All monthly minimums vary from processor to processor and the reason being is that in any attempt to resolve a financial bond or agreement with a credit card processor, there is competition and marketing involved in doing so. So if you see a lower monthly fee compared to a no statement fee don't fall for the free.
